I want people to know about the Vietnam War, The Khmer Rouge, the Laotian Revolution, Filipino treatment in WW2, all of it as a reminder of gratefulness. But moreover I want all if us to respect each others culture and celebrate it. I want people not of South East Asian descent be enarmoured by it. I think we of the young generations of the South East Asian group need to take the reins from our parents, who are often battling the scars of war still to show them that they are survivors and will not be forgotten, that their children are the testament to surviving and we will give them peace of mind, not just to them but also to those killed.

September and October have seen devastating floods in SE Asia, affecting Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines. Cambodia’s staple crop and primary export rice has been decimated, along with many killed, and farmland still under vast swathes of floodwater, jeopardising crops in future years.
It’s not just the Philppines.
Pray for everyone.
