That ain’t no egg. That’s bunh-cha-nuo. Cambodian dessert that my Mommy made. Sticky, slightly sweet, hint of ginger, crunchy sesame, surprising texture. When I was younger, while Mommy made this dessert, I would take the yellow filling and stuff my face. She never yelled at me. And that’s one of the many ways I know she loves me.
